PECSA is excited to continue our development program this summer for the U8, U10, and U12 age groups!
GOALS
- Work within Soccer Canada’s Grassroots Long Term Player Development strategy to grow the quality of soccer in PEC
- Augment PECSA house league program, not compete with it
- Instil a passion for the game and practicing at home
- Provide an instruction opportunity for players with an interest in developing
- Challenge players that aren’t otherwise challenged in house league play
- Build a base for a select/rep program in the future
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
- 8 week session (Jun-Jul)
- 1 session per week
- $75/player
- Each player would be provided a shirt and age appropriate ball to bring to each session.
- Separate sessions for each age group: U8, U10, and U12
- Progressive program with a set format/structure with skills and small sided games adapted appropriately to each age group
